I've been helping in Lee's Summit, suburb of Kansas City. This, of course, is a 'set-up' shot of me and Rosa, a shift manager. I am there to help with some new software/hardware in this store. It's a Wingstreet/MainPath which means nothing to you but is a concept that I am not familar with selling 139 different types of wings and other fried foods plus your normal pizza. I will be down there this week also and Rosa has promised to make me some sushi so I'm sort of excited.

Hoover Dam Bridge

The bridge won't be done for another year. We are down by the dam taking this picture. This bridge is quite an example of modern large construction and I think will be more of a site than the dam itself. It will be the bypass for traffic so there isn't so much congestion over the dam as they still check every vehicle that goes over it.

Morning in Vegas

It's already 100 degrees...This is our view of western Vegas and mountains from the hotel room. The day we left, you couldn't see the mountains because of all the smoke from the California fires.
