A contributor to www.coasttocoastam.com submitted this photo of his uncle talking on a cell phone in 1947 (the guy on the very left). No, you fool, it's not your uncle! It's an 'Away Team' from the USS Enterprise landing on the Earth after some kind of time warp. It's Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock and McCoy (with the cigarette in his mouth). They have just saved a small boy from being fatally hit by a car and Kirk is calling up to the Enterprise to see if they have changed the time/space continuum. The response, "That 13 year old boy you have just saved will now grow up to be ruler of the free world circa 2009...the time/space continuum has been changed...oh, my God, we're all Klingons now......."

Don't think McCoy ever smoked
either. I do feel like I know a
few klingons tho. When were the
first cell phones available????
As many calls as I've made this
past week - - - hope I don't go
over my minutes this month.Muller
would be a good klingon. They were
taking all the kids and grandkids
and going to Adventure Land today.
Boy I wish I would have been
invited and am sure you feel bad
