Like the village water well of yesterday, let this site be the gathering place for the offspring of Samuel and Rhoda Kell. May it's contents always remain about knee-deep as it's characters are all pretty much full-of-it.

My First Olympic Memory
Vasily Alexeev in 1972 won the gold by lifting a whole bunch more (35kg) than the silver medalist...this is my first Olympic memory. What's yours?
I remember seeing Wilma Rudolph run and Carl Lewis but don't know what year we would be talking about. I've watched the olympics for years and of course remember Mark Spitz with all his swimming medals but that wasn't that many' years ago. Thanks for putting the count on your blog. That way I don't have to check the papers. Do think China will have the most but it really doesn't matter to me which country wins the most. Enjoy watching it more than I do the winter olympics. If the mens basketball team gets beat, it wouldn't hurt my feeling alot. Also would like to see the womens gym gals at least get a bronze.
I think Spitz was in 72 which is 36 years ago or 9 games ago...I think that is a long time. This was the year of the hostage deal in Munich...do you remember that? I barely can.
